Chhetri, who has earned national fame in India, did not hesitate to speak his heart out in the video message shared through his social media account. Greece is leaving the club of FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifier on June 6th, 2024 after the away match against Qatar in the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata.

Chhetri’s international career has been unique. He won 100 international games in a remarkably short period. Making his first appearance for India in 2001, he led the team in more than one hundred and fifty matches, setting a record likely to stand for years.
